James Corden’s Leaving Late Night

James Corden announced that he’s leaving The Late Late Show after 8 years in a tearful speech last night.

-Swifties are following the breadcrumbs and convinced that Taylor will attend Monday’s MET gala.

-At Coachella, Phoebe Bridgers referred to Normal People’s star Paul Mescal as her fiancé.

-In other relationship news, it looks like Katie Holmes is dating musician Bobby Wooten III.

Elisabeth Moss talked about why she doesn’t publicly discuss Scientology: “I don’t want to come off as being cagey. If you and I met, just hanging out as friends, I’m, like, an open book about it….[But] I don’t want people to be distracted by something when they’re watching me. I want them to be seeing the character. I feel like, when actors reveal too much of their lives, I’m sometimes watching something and I’m going, ‘Oh, I know that she just broke up with that person,’ or, ‘I know that she loves to do hot yoga,’ or whatever it is.”

-Bridgerton’s Golda Rosheuvel, who plays the queen, says she was advised early in her career not to come out as gay publicly.

Blake Lively is set to make her film directorial debut with Seconds, an adaptation of the graphic novel by Bryan Lee O’Malley. Edgar Wright, who tackled the adaptation of O’Malley’s Scott Pilgrim, is writing the screenplay.

-Pachinko has been renewed for season two at Apple TV. I really have to start watching this; critics adore it.

-A couple of Marvel movies are swapping places: The Marvels will now be released on July 28, 2023 and Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will move up to Feb. 17, 2023, because it’s further along in production.

-The CW has canceled Batwoman after three seasons.

Christian Slater has joined the cast of FX’s adaptation of Fleishman Is In Trouble. I’m really looking forward to this one.

-The new trailer for Jurassic World: Dominion includes a close up of a Giganotosaurus.
