Kourtney Kardashian Talks about ‘Fake Marriage’

-The Kardashians were on Jimmy Kimmel’s show last night, and Kourtney didn’t love when he referred to her getting “fake married.” She insisted she couldn’t get a marriage license at that time of night but some have doubts.

Kim Kardashian sat down for an in-depth interview with Robin Roberts, in which she apologized for her working women comment (at least she’s no longer claiming it was taken out of context), and talked about co-parenting with Kanye West, saying they talk daily about the kids.

Brooklyn Beckham will marry Nicola Peltz in Miami this weekend, and the ceremony is expected to be lavish af.

Avril Lavigne and her boyfriend, musician Mod Sun, got engaged in Paris.

Vanessa Hudgens (who impressed everyone with her Oscar red carpet interviewing abilities) told Kelly Clarkson she has the ability to talk to ghosts. “I’ve accepted the fact that I see things and I hear things. The unknown is scary. But I recently was like, ‘No, this is a gift and something that I have the ability to do, so I’m going to lean into it.'”

-I will never be able to wrap my head around the fact that the guy Anya Taylor-Joy is dating is NOT the same guy who sang “Bittersweet Symphony.”

-The Independent shared a letter from Meghan Markle in which she pays tribute to her late friend, animal behaviourist Oli Juste. “It has left me, and so many others, heartbroken and reflective—knowing that the legacy he leaves for our furry friends is beautifully simple: just love them.”

-An  investigation has been launched into Monday’s accident on the Georgia set of Tales of the Walking Dead, where a crew member was injured when she fell from the top deck of a riverboat.

-This is an interesting look at all the famous women who’ve recently fled social media.

-I haven’t finished The Dropout, but the critical consensus seems to be that the show nailed the ending and succeeded where all the other fictionalized scammy shows that debuted this spring have not.

-Tonight’s performance of Broadway’s Plaza Suite has been canceled after Sarah Jessica Parker tested positive for covid today.

-The Black Screen Office responded to Barry Avrich’s tone deaf comment during his Canadian Screen Awards speech, in which he said “There are so many Black stories in Canada that need to be told. It doesn’t matter who tells them, we just need to tell them.”

-Everything Everywhere All At Once opens wide this weekend and it’s currently at 97% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s so weird and lovely and heartbreaking and mind-melting. I saw it two weeks ago and am still thinking about it. Twitter asked Michelle Yeoh, who is 59 and still doing her own stunts, to read flattering tweets about herself and it was very cute. When she got to one that featured images of her high kicking, she said “I guess my legs still reach up there. Cool.”

Michael Bay‘s new movie Ambulance, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Matteen, is getting surprisingly good reviews, especially considering its relatively modest budget.

Kiernan Shipka plays an assistant to Diane Kruger in the Swimming with Sharks trailer.

Natasha Lyonne is back to being a “time prisoner” in the new trailer for season two of Russian Doll, which sees her jumping through different eras.
