–Benedict Cumberbatch spent months preparing to play a cowboy in The Power of the Dog, and said it paid off when he rescued a family from a herd of cows. “I came back from shooting the film in August and we were off to the beach. To get there we had to cross a field and in the field was a petrified family who just couldn’t move, they were frozen because of a herd of cows with calves. I thought, ‘I can do this,’ and I just sort of parted the waves of cattle. The family was like, ‘That was incredible. Hey, aren’t you Sherlock?'”

-This is an interesting look at actors who demanded changes to their characters’ romantic relationships. It’s presented as positive, but on the flip side I recently read a Twitter thread from a TV writer about the abuse they take from fans when a show kills a ship even though often it’s because the stars demanded it (they found religion and refuse to do sex scenes, or they hate each other and don’t want to be in the same room, or one is anti-mask and no one wants to kiss them, etc.).
