Prince Harry’s Charm Attack

Prince Harry‘s segment with James Corden not only delivered plenty of laughs, it also revealed quite a bit about the disconnect between him and the royal family. This was a PR master class at every level.

-The Daily Mail claims Buckingham Palace is upset with Harry‘s interview because it overshadowed The Queen‘s “rare and important” vaccination video today.

-Variety published a new exposé featuring interviews with former Buffy and Angel crew members, detailing Joss Whedon’s toxic behavior on set. One tidbit: Whedon not being allowed alone in the same room as teenager Michelle Trachtenberg was due to an “improper verbal exchange.”

-Well, this is a pleasant surprise. Cameo’s top creator of the year was Brian Baumgartner, aka Kevin from The Office, who made over $1 million in bookings.

-Wow. Writer Ta-Nehisi Coates is penning a new Superman film for Warner Bros/DC, which will be produced by J.J. Abrams.

-Ocean’s Eleven costars George Clooney and Julia Roberts are reuniting for a new movie called Ticket to Paradise.

-Big Brother Canada announced the latest guests this week, and then promptly fired one after claims of racism, assault, and a video of him saying a homophobic slur surfaced online.

-I really enjoyed this Kaley Cuoco’s profile.

-Hulu had greenlit a limited series about Mike Tyson called Iron Mike, and he’s calling it “cultural appropriation.”

-The runtime for Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut is 4 hours, 1 minute, and 28 seconds. Ha. Have fun with that.

-I cautiously optimistic about Netflix’s Shadow and Bone. I liked the books so much, and every new trailer gives me hope.
