–This is a good piece on how Dave Franco praising three ’90s romcoms (all by white filmmakers) and talking about how he wants to “elevate” the genre ignores the BIPOC voices already refreshing this genre. I don’t know how you can look at the romcom resurgence of the last few years — with movies like Always Be My Maybe, The Big Sick, The Lovebirds, and Crazy Rich Asians — and think you need to jump in and make it better.
-In an interview with Katy Perry, Howard Stern brought up Orlando Bloom‘s nude paddleboating pics from a few years ago. She told him: “It was Europe!
