There’s a very real chance that comedy releases on streaming becomes the norm, while theatrical releases are limited to big budget tentpoles.
-The Oscars’ Board of Governors will meet virtually tomorrow. It’ll be interesting how Oscar season plays out, with most fall film festivals probably not happening (except maybe Telluride), and a fall theatrical marketplace that will likely contain fewer functioning cinemas operating at partial capacity.
