Emilia Clarke Celebrates Her Birthday

Emilia Clarke is a total dork and I kind of love her for it.

Jennifer Garner and the boyfriend we all forget she has are still going strong after one year(!) together.

-Meanwhile, Ben Affleck is reportedly hitting up Raya, the dating app for famous people.

-We’re getting a love story starring Colin Firth and Stanley Tucci, which sounds like it was sourced directly from my secret diaries.

Kesha goes on the run after killing her abusive husband in the video for her new song which, as the kids say, slaps.

Pete Davidson is now reportedly dating a supermodel. What. Is. Happening.

Harvey Weinstein showed up at a comedy event last night, invited by the organizers (because apparently people still invite him to things?!). Bless this female comedian who called him out during her set.

-Yikes. Rosario Dawson and family members are being sued by a former associate who claims they were transphobic.

Kanye West is doing press for Jesus Is King, (which a select group of listeners heard in full Wednesday night, so this thing actually exists!), and says he banned sex outside marriage during the creation of the album: “There were times where I was asking people not to have premarital sex while they were working on the album. There were times where I went to people that were working on other projects and said can you just work and focus on this?” That seems like a totally fair and rational request.

-Since their merger, Disney is placing the Fox film library in its vault and denying repertory showings to most theaters, which sucks incredibly hard.

-I have never read a historical romance novel but the fact that this author says she modeled her heroine after Jada Pinkett Smith in Magic Mike XXL put it immediately on my TRL.

Harry Styles will be pulling double duty on SNL as both host and musical guest on Nov 16.

Lea Michele she once had a NYC apartment that was haunted by a singing ghost.

-The CW is loading up on spinoffs. First came the Arrow one, and now The 100 is testing a backdoor pilot for a prequel.

-Bless Kathy Griffin for ruthlessly schooling a weatherman who interrupted her morning talk show interview with his thoughts on female comedians.

-When Zoe Kazan discovers her abusive husband is beating their son, she flees with her kids to Manhattan despite having no place to live in the trailer for The Kindness of Strangers.
