Tiffany Haddish Weighs in on Game of Thrones

-This week’s Gay of Thrones features Tiffany Haddish and remains more entertaining than the show they’re recapping.

-Meanwhile, next Star Wars movie will be from David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the guys behind Game of Thrones. I can’t tell if the timing of this announcement is terrible (because of how much everyone is hating on them this week), or the best they could do (because we may all be hating on them even more after Sunday’s finale).

-It looks like Jennifer Lopez‘s daughter might follow in her mom’s footsteps. Girl’s got pipes!

George Clooney says he once advised Ben Affleck to turn down the Batman role. “I actually did talk to him about it. I said, ‘Don’t do it. ‘It was only from my experience, which is, you know…He did great, though.”

Keanu Reeves is perfect and we must protect him at all costs.

-Disney’s disturbing consolidation continues. They now have full control of Hulu after buying out Comcast’s stake.

-The glowing reviews for Fleabag’s season two (which drops on Amazon Friday) don’t do it justice. I binged the whole season in a weekend, and it’s perfection.

-Here’s the trailer for the Party of Five reboot. I have concerns.

-Meanwhile, I’m pretty sold on the new 90210 show based on the new trailer.

-The cast for Cate Blanchett‘s upcoming FX show is stacked! (As if Cate weren’t enough.)

-I’ve dropped the CW superhero shows because there’s too many better shows to watch and too little time, but I caught last night’s Arrow season finale (which was basically the series finale cause it seems like next season’s final 10 eps will be a weird crossover setup), and holy wow did it get me right in the feels. What a perfect, beautiful scene to close out the show — both in the present day and 20 years in the future. Basically, this reaction video was me.

-Someone is adapting Eleanor & Park?!? I am both extremely excited and totally terrified that they’ll screw it up. It’s being produced by Brad Pitt’s Plan B, so there’s hope.

Mel Gibson’s publicist is both ballsy and delusional — which I guess is a requirement to be Mel Gibson’s publicist.

-The latest trailer for The Dead Don’t Die leans into Adam Driver‘s deadpan delivery.

Angelina Jolie is magnificent in the Maleficent: Mistress of Evil trailer.
