Kristen Stewart pushes her way into the VIP section and force-feeds some dude spaghetti, makes out with a lot of boys, and steals a car in Interpol’s new video.

-Interesting that Jean-Marc Vallee was reportedly approached for the new Bond. After Big Little Lies and now Sharp Objects, I gotta say that I’m finding his quick cut flashback style to be…a lot.

Ashley Judd and Alyssa Milano say all the right things about #MeToo following Asia Argento‘s sexual assault allegations, but I think the movement’s founder, Tarana Burke, sums it up best: “It will continue to be jarring when we hear the names of some of our faves connected to sexual violence unless we shift from talking about individuals and begin to talk about power.”

Jason Reitman is coming back to Toronto to present one of his star-studded live readings. Up this year: The Breakfast Club. (I saw his live reading of The Princess Bride a few years ago with Rachel McAdams, Patrick Stewart, Cary Elwes, Chris O’Dowd and Donald Glover and it was one of my fave TIFF experiences.)

Jon Hamm and Ed Harris have joined Top Gun: Maverick. Between them and Glen Powell, there are going to be a lot of strong jawlines in this thing.

-Catastrophe’s Sharon Horgan is developing an Amazon self-help comedy co-starring Billy Magnussen in which a “broken” woman starts a self-help company and hires a former gymnast to be the face of it. Get in my eyeballs!!

-I walked past Hayden Christensen on the street the other day and thought “wow, he’s aged well!” If I’d only ordered a pizza!

-Peppermint comes out right smack in the middle of TIFF which means I can’t see it opening weekend but man, every clip that comes out of it makes me want to devour it.

Ben Mendelsohn quits his job and leaves his family in the Netflix movie The Land of Steady Habits, which is premiering at TIFF.

-The new Suspiria trailer features Tilda Swinton rocking a snuggie and Thom Yorke’s creepy score.
