George and Amal Clooney Are Having Twins

-Sweet baby jesus! Those rumours about Amal Clooney having twins actually turned out to be true! I can barely wrap by head around this. If someone had told me five years ago that George Clooney (who has spoken eloquently and passionately about not wanted kids in the past) would now be married and facing double diaper duty, I would have laughed in their face — and then tried to sell them a bridge. Also in “I can’t believe this is happening” news: Julie Chen of the The Talk broke the story and says the twins are due in June! What is life?!

-In other baby news from pretty people, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham are expecting.

Scarlett Johansson is getting flak for her Marie Claire interview, in which she justifies her Ghost in the Shell casting by saying “I certainly would never presume to play another race of a person” but that “having a franchise with a female protagonist driving it is such a rare opportunity.” Hmmm. Not exactly intersectional feminism.

-It looks like Ben Affleck’s huge phoenix tattoo on his back is real, not fake as he claimed. Bless his heart.

-Meanwhile, Ben‘s Batman movie may be starting over from scratch.

Anna Wintour is warning that we’ll be seeing a lot more of Melania Trump in Vogue. But…why?

Debra Messing talked about how terribly director Alfonso Arau treated her on the set of A Walk in the Clouds,  demeaning her during a nude scene and saying things like “How quickly can we get a plastic surgeon in here? Her nose is ruining my movie!”

-Nice: Amy Poehler is developing a comedy for HBO.

-News that Fleabag creator and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge may be joining the Han Solo standalone film is making me stupidly happy.

-The cast of the Vampire Diaries are doing a really good job of pretending they like each other as filming wraps up.

-It sounds like Jenny Slate is having a hard time with her split from Chris Evans.

-Not gonna lie: Chris Evans fighting David Duke on Twitter is really doing it for me.

Jake Gyllenhaal talking about the Tonys is kinda doing it for me too…

Kelly Clarkson says a cancer scare “ruined” the first time she won at the Grammys.

-The Good Fight (The Good Wife’s spinoff that is web-only in the US) will be airing on W in Canada. Yay!

-The Crown has cast Dexter’s Michael C. Hall for season 2 to play JFK.  Huh.

-For some reason, Miranda Kerr felt the need to reveal that she and Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel won’t be having sex until after they’re married.

-This is a good sign: The Lego Batman movie has a 97 percent “fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Stephen and Robbie Amell‘s upcoming sci-fi film just scored a distribution deal. I kickstarted this thing!

-I’m so glad HBO’s Big Little Lies is getting such great reviews. I need it in my life.

Jason Derulo is slamming American Airlines over what he calls a “racial discrimination” incident.

-I think the only teen show I’m watching these days is Sweet/Vicious, but I still really appreciated this article on how teen dramas are the perfect cure for prestige TV blues.

-It’s not in theatres until this summer and I’ve already sent a group text to my girlfriends warning them that we’re seeing Girl Trip opening night, based on this (very NSFW) trailer alone.
