Jennifer Lopez and Drake gifted us with a holiday-themed gossip bomb when they both Instagrammed this cuddle-y photo. Is it weird that I’m a little worried about her? I mean, he likes to date. A lot.  And he loves a good publicity stunt. (Although she does too.)  Have fun but protect your heart, JLo!

-Adding fuel to the rumour fire: just before that post, Rihanna unfollowed her pal Jenny From the Block.

Kanye West posted this (weirdly filtered) family Christmas photo, pumping the brakes on those rumours that he and Kim split last weekend.

-Supergirl star Melissa Benoist has filed for divorce from her husband of four years, her Glee costar Blake Jenner. She may be young, but at least she’s wise enough to drop this news in the post-xmas lull.

-There are many wonderful remembrances of Carrie Fisher that are worth your time, including this recap of her most memorable appearances on Craig Ferguson’s show, this old conversation between her and Madonna, and a heartfelt tribute from her TV son, Rob Delaney.

-Meanwhile, word is Carrie had already wrapped larger Episode VIII role.

-And now comes word that Carrie‘s mother, Debbie Reynolds, has been rushed to hospital. Enough, 2016.

-This is an interesting look at 2016’s pop culture winners and losers. At the start of the year, who woulda thunk that Kate Beckinsale and Ralph Fiennes would top the winners list, while Taylor Swift and Katy Perry would end up losers?

-I’m not sure why Natalie Morales inserting herself into the “Always Something There to Remind Me” video made me laugh so hard, but it really did.

Queen Latifah has been reunited with her car, which was stolen at a gas station in Atlanta on Tuesday.

-Watching Vin Diesel aggressively hit on a female interviewer (“She’s so f—ing sexy!”) makes me glad Dwayne Johnson dragged him so hard.

-Forbes named Scarlett Johansson 2016’s highest earning actor.

-Orange Is the New Black’s Uzo Aduba delivers the most famous lines in TV history (I love her “I am the one who knocks!”)

-ICYMI, Nicole and I recapped our best and worst TV picks of 2016.

-In the latest episode of Leah Remini’s Scientology docuseries, she discussed “the practice of coerced abortions.”

-Sounds like Ryan Reynolds will get his wish: his Deadpool character will reportedly show up in Logan with Hugh Jackman.

-I haven’t been online much over the holidays but did I miss confirmation about a third Sex and the City movie?!

-People magazine’s new cover story delves into George Michael’s final, reportedly reclusive days.

Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy are here to make all your fanfic dreams come true.

-Here’s the first trailer for Ridley Scott’s next Alien movie Covenant if you’re in the mood to see something nefarious crawling into Michael Fassbender’s ear.
