Oscar Isaac: Golden Globes’ MVP

-Room kidlet Jacob Tremblay is a huge Star Wars fan, and he had an adorable lightsaber battle with Oscar Isaac at a Golden Globes party. I’m dead.

-Meanwhile, EVERYONE wanted to meet Oscar last night. Smart folks.

-The Golden Globes were bizarre (check out our fashion recap if you haven’t already) and I still have no idea why Mel Gibson was there, but at least Ricky Gervais‘ “sugar tits” comment kept me awake.

-Speaking of Globes fashion, how do actresses not do the camera flashbulb test before hitting up a red carpet? Do they not have BFFs to help them with this sort of thing? I’m pretty sure Nicole wouldn’t let me leave my house without a thorough nipple pasty check under a variety of lighting scenarios…

Amy Poehler‘s Smart Girls asked some smart questions backstage last night.

Jennifer Lawrence had a busy night at the Globes. She was spotted talking to ex Nicholas Hoult and flirting with Chris Evans.

-I love JLaw (love her a little less for scolding a reporter last night for checking his phone when he was actually just trying to read out his question, though), but directors have got to STOP assuming she can play older than she is. Joy proves she shouldn’t.

Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry were spotted getting close at a Golden Globes after-party. I can’t even tell if that’s a step up or down from John Mayer. Lateral move?

-I still can’t get over Brad Pitt’s face. He’s Benjamin Buttoning for realsies.

-There have been a lot of wonderful David Bowie tributes today, but I especially love what Carol director Todd Haynes said about him a few weeks ago.

-Guys, I’m really confused about this Sean Penn/El Chapo thing. Is Penn going to get in trouble for interviewing him? Or did his interview help with the arrest? All he’s saying is he’s “got nothing to hide.” Um, ok?

-In the cover for V Magazine, Lady Gaga and Taylor Kinney appear naked in a post-coital selfie. But it’s for charity, so we’re not allowed to mock it. Right?

Kevin Smith to direct an episode of The Flash. Is he going to cry again?

-We can now watch the first minute of The X-Files miniseries. I’m not going to, but knock yourself out.

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are doing Kimmel together tomorrow. I can’t wait. I don’t even care that critics who’ve seen the first two hours are disappointed.  I just don’t.

-I’m not a huge fan of the dress Gillian wore to the Golden Globes parties, but at least she’s back on the party circuit!

-Wait, so Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe say that they’re not dating IRL? Sounds fake but ok.

-Netflix spent $156 million on The Crown, a drama about Queen Elizabeth II. Based on the trailer, they might have overspent.

-Speaking of streaming originals, Aaron Paul begins to have doubts about following Hugh Dancy in the new trailer for Hulu’s The Path.
