-Well, that was fast. Cameron Diaz is reportedly engaged to Benji Madden. If she wanted to keep this under the radar, this could have leaked next week during the slowest media coverage period of the year. Of course, next week isn’t when Annie comes out…

-Also, is this her engagement ring?

Mindy Kaling and Chris Messina pulled a Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams at last night’s inaugural People Magazine Awards. (Also, that might be the best dress she’s ever worn.)

Abigail Breslin swears she wasn’t trying to beef with Taylor Swift on Twitter.

-Even Obama weighed in on whether Sony made the right decision pulling The Interview: “I think they made a mistake.”  (Also, he only called on women at the press conference, which was awesome.)

Brad Pitt-ish.

-I’m not a big fan of Michael Pitt (based more on stories I’ve heard about him than his actual acting abilities), but he was GREAT on Hannibal last season. There’s got to be some dirt behind why he was suddenly recast.

-The Colbert Report hosted an all-star musical farewell. Here’s everyone who showed up.

Reese Witherspoon is kicking her Oscar campaign into high gear by opening up about her divorce from Ryan Phillippe.

-Is Sarah Jessica Parker heading back to HBO? She reportedly eyeing a new divorce comedy. I never really expected her to return to TV, but I’m not complaining.

-The new Outlander promo is super swoony.

-Speaking of genre TV, I don’t watch Supernatural but I know a lot of people who will love this oral history.

-Early word about ABC’s new Agent Carter series is that it’s fabulous. And with only 8 episodes, not an overwhelming commitment. Is it weird that January is shaping up to be a better month for new TV than last September was?

Kevin Hart preps Will Ferrell for prison in the new Get Hard trailer.
