Miley Cyrus’ Raunchy 22nd Birthday Party

-For her birthday, Miley Cyrus dressed like a puppet, hung out with her Schwarzenegger BF and rode a giant mechanical penis. Celebs, they’re just like us!

-Meanwhile, Demi Lovato isn’t in a rush to make up with Miley anytime soon.

-Need someone to wrap your xmas gifts? Angelina Jolie is on it!

-I love that this interviewer basically convinced Emily Blunt to go for the Captain Marvel role.

-Speaking of comic book properties, it seems that DC’s hot streak on TV just came to an abrupt halt. Constantine is dead. (It’s really weird that the article keeps implying that it still might get a second season; shows that stop production have no chance. Did NBC’s publicity team write that one for them?)

-I’m having a really hard time believing this rumour about Amber Heard wanting to break up with Johnny Depp because of a drunken speech. She’s too much of a climber to give up this easily.

Anna Kendrick says the secret to successful tweeting is to write drafts when you’re drunk — but don’t post until you’re sober. I have so much to learn from this woman.

-This extended improv outtake from The Skeleton Twins makes me want to see that movie again.

-Dad-to-be Ryan Reynolds says he can’t wait for diapers and diarrhea. Well, he did survive this shitstorm.

-Blergh. Katy Perry is headlining the Super Bowl.

-The paps continue to try (and fail) to get a good shot of Jessica Biel’s belly bump.

-This is an interesting article from The Hollywood Reporter on how this has been a brutal season for TV comedy, but I wish they’d made the distinction between network and cable.  Because yeah, network sitcoms are tanking but how do you write an article about comedies in 2014 and not mention the cable successes of Broad City, You’re the Worst, Review, Amy Schumer, Key & Peele, etc.?

-Speaking of TV comedy weirdness, Tina Fey‘s new sitcom has moved from NBC to Netflix.

Taylor Townsend is getting a divorce.

-HBO has finally officially confirmed that Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch will be in True Detective: Season 2. That must have been some crazy contract negotiations.

-In other HBO news, they’re making a bombshell documentary on Scientology based on Lawrence Wright‘s book (which I read and loved). The network isn’t joking around; they’ve reportedly hired 160 lawyers in anticipation of a lawsuit.

-A super brief teaser for Jurassic World has landed. I guess it’s a testament to the original that the dinosaurs don’t look markedly better in this one.
