Tina Fey Covers Elle, Gives Modelling Tips

Tina Fey Elle cover

-Look at Tina Fey working that Elle cover like the OG boss that she is. Love it!

-At Elle’s Women in Hollywood event, Tina had some nice things to say about late comedy legend Jan Hooks. “Jan deserved a big movie career. Certainly as big as Rob Schneider’s f**king career.”

-Also at that event, Jennifer Garner gave an impassioned speech on sexism. I especially liked the part where she talks about how she gets asked about work-life balance on every red carpet, and when she asked Ben Affleck about it, he said he’s never gotten that question in his life.

Renée Zellweger says she’s glad you all noticed that she looks different. So there.

Neil Patrick Harris wasn’t the Academy’s first choice to host the Oscars. First they asked Ellen Degeneres, Chris Rock, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus(!!).

-Is Jennifer Lopez the latest star to land a residency in Vegas?

-iTunes Canada accidentally released less than 10 seconds of static, labelled it a new Taylor Swift song, and it immediately skyrocketed to number one in the charts. Sigh.

-Speaking of Taylor, in her new Esquire interview she drops this terrifying truth nugget: “We have a file [of men] who have showed up at my house, showed up at my mom’s house, threatened to either kill me, kidnap me, or marry me.”

Sarah Jessica Parker penned a lovely tribute to Oscar de la Renta.

-I loved this oral history of the yellow daisy scene from the first season of Gilmore Girls.

This Tweedy video was directed by Nick Offerman? Huh.

Aziz Ansari appeared on Sesame Street and things got ridiculous.

-The fake celebrity profiles on The Hairpin never fail to make me smile, but this one might be the best yet.

-Here’s what Johnny Depp‘s Big Bad Wolf looks like in Into the Woods. This is the first Depp movie I’ve been excited about in eons. (Mostly in spite of him rather than because of him, but still!)

-Even Jim Carrey’s SNL promos exhaust me. Even Aidy Bryant can’t save them.

-I’m very confused by Anne Hathaway‘s entire red carpet look here.

Chris Evans may have reunited with Minka Kelly, destroying our dreams of a Sandra Bullock hookup.

-Here’s the first teaser trailer for Mark Wahlberg‘s The Gambler. The supporting cast looks strong: Brie Larson, Jessica Lange, Michael K Williams.
