Gillian Anderson is doing a book tour for the sci-fi novel she co-wrote, and it’s been a goddamn delight. She teased a new X Files movie, threw her hat in the ring for Ghostbusters 3, and was totally charming during this Buzzfeed quiz.

-Round three! Martha Stewart mocked Gwyneth Paltrow with a ‘conscious coupling’ magazine spread.

-Speaking of lifestyle guru wannabes, Blake Lively‘s baby shower looks like hipster hell.

-Meanwhile, Gawker wrote a post criticizing Blake’s tone-deaf Preserve essay on the American South, and now her lawyer wants them to take post down.

Zac Efron has a new girlfriend and eyebrows are being raised everywhere.

Sofia Coppola and Bill Murray are reuniting for a Christmas special.

-Meanwhile, Bill Murray just called Oscar season a virus: “I feel like the Statue of Liberty covered in maggots.” Tell us how you really feel!

-I sat next to Robert Downey Jr. at a restaurant this weekend (where he was dining with Robert DeNiro), and he seemed pretty happy for a guy whose new movie was bombing at the weekend box office. Maybe because he knew news was about to break that he would have a major role in the next Captain America movie.

-I also saw Mindy Kaling at a Vulture panel (it was a REALLY good weekend), where she addressed rumours that she’d be in Ghostbusters 3.

-Weird new couple alert: Kat Dennings and Josh Groban are dating. At least he seems to realize how lucky he is.

-In her new book, Amy Poehler opens up about her experiences with cocaine, ecstasy and marijuana, as well as her divorce from Will Arnett.

Shia LaBeouf‘s apology tour is well underway. He was admittedly charming talking about his Cabaret arrest on Kimmel last night, but it was still kind of skeevy. Couldn’t he show just like, a whiff of regret?

-Following The Walking Dead’s insane new ratings record, I really liked this article about how horrific TV has gone mainstream. (If only that would translate into more people watching Hannibal…)

-This is great: the real Lorde performed the fake Lorde’s “I Am Lorde Ya Ya Ya” from South Park.

-I’m actually kind of surprised that Amal Alamuddin took George’s last name.

-A five-year-old proposed to Demi Lovato during her concert this weekend and it was full of adorabs.

-Sadness: Kesha has sued star producer Dr. Luke, claiming he sexually and physically assaulted her for years, while he claims she’s trying to extort him with her lawsuit and sued her right back.

Brad Pitt revealed he’s been a gun owner since kindergarten and says he doesn’t  feel safe without a gun in the house. Sigh.

-Hep C from the Gilmore Girls reunited for a surprise gig and it makes me so stupidly happy.

-Ugh. Chris Brown says that ebola is ‘a form of population control.’

-Backstage at SNL, Seth Rogen ran into the NBC exec who cancelled Freaks & Geeks and gave him a piece of his mind.

-Also making me stupidly happy: Channing Tatum says he has dance battles with Jenna Dewan every morning. That’s exactly how I pictured their marriage.

Claire Danes taught Cookie Monster how to make a diagram on Sesame Street.

Dax Shepard told Conan O’Brien about the time he asked wife Kristen Bell to shave his butt.

-A new teaser for Tomorrowland, starring George Clooney and Britt Robertson, debuted at NY Comic Con.
