The New Maleficent Trailer Heavies Up on Angelina Jolie

Maleficent Angelina Jolie

-There’s a new trailer for Maleficent and it’s great — mostly because it’s all Angelina all the time (sorry, Elle Fanning) and it’s soundtracked by a wonderfully creepy Lana Del Ray song.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis won best new artist and best rap album last night at the Grammys, and it means a lot for hip hop. They also made me verklempt with that mass wedding stunt.

-It’s great that Macklemore texted Kendrick Lamar after the show to say the wrong person won best rap album. Less great is that he then Instagrammed that text.

Trent Reznor‘s closing Grammy performance was cut off in favour of an airline ad, and he took to Twitter to vent about it.

-Speaking of the Grammys, here are my picks for the best and worst dressed and my full red carpet gallery for MSN.

Sharon Osbourne had an “explosive confrontation” with Jonah Hill‘s brother, music manager Jordan Feldstein, at a pre-Grammys party. There’s even a photo of her throwing a glass of water at him as he walks away.

-Whatever Grammy photos you’re looking at today, they won’t be as awesome as the ones 50 Cent Instagrammed with Meryl Streep. This one slays me.

-Have some time to kill? Check out this oral history of the 1996 hit movie Swingers.

Josh Lucas (who convinced me that it’s actually possible to get lost in someone’s eyes when I met him a few TIFFs ago) is splitting from his wife of two years.

-A jury has acquitted Courtney Love of libel on Twitter because they didn’t believe she was aware her tweet was false. Guys, Courtney Love isn’t aware of *anything.*

-I love love love Sandra Bullock’s vampy makeup at the DGA Awards.

Kerry Washington, meanwhile, showed up at the DGAs in an actual tent. Anna Kendrick, on the other hand, fared better than at the Grammys.

-Speaking of fashion, Anne Hathaway has ditched stylist Rachel Zoe after a decade of working together.

Amanda Bynes is getting a “lifestyle makeover,” which basically means she’s spending thousands of dollars to eat kale at a resort.

-This is terrifying: a stalker was arrested on Selena Gomez’s property.

This NYTimes article on how the Knicks decide which celebrities sit courtside is crazy interesting. “Woody Allen is not welcomed anymore, and he understands.”

-The first Fifty Shades Of Grey poster has been released … and it’s all about Jamie Doran‘s butt. They clearly understand their target demo.

-Fun: Elizabeth Banks is going to direct Pitch Perfect 2. She produced the first one.

Tegan & Sara are in a new Oreo commercial, which I’m going to choose to think is awesome.

-Several Florida cops have been suspended for giving Justin Bieber an unofficial escort to a bunch of clubs in the days before his arrest.

-Meanwhile, the Biebs has resurfaced in Panama following his arrest (with Usher, who’s hopefully taken it upon himself to get that kid in line). Bieber’s also back on Twitter because, you know, priorities.

-At least there’s some good news for his camp: almost all charges against Bieber will be dropped.

DMX is the greatest wedding crasher of all time. Sorry Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn. Your reign is over.

Scarlett Johansson had to release a statement defending her endorsement of SodaStream.

-I love and adore Prince, but I really wish he’d stop suing fans for pirating his music.

Jennifer Aniston is still not married, just in case you heard otherwise and/or forgot to send a gift.

This article on MSCL made me want to rewatch the whole damn thing.

Quentin Tarantino is suing Gawker for publishing his Hateful Eight script, a film he has now shelved because of the leak.

Jennifer Lawrence is about to sign another three-year exclusive deal with Dior, which means something from this collection will probably end up on her come Oscar night. Dior hasn’t done right by her so far this award season, but I could see her pulling off this or this. Just please, not this. Or this. Or especially this.

Kate Moss‘ new campaign for Alexander McQueen is fierce.

-The unexpected by-product of Sean Penn dating Charlize Theron? He doesn’t seem so grumpy anymore. He even looks downright giddy in these photos.

– The first trailer for A Long Way Down is here! I loved loved loved the Nick Hornby book this is based on, and it stars Aaron Paul, so clearly I’m all in.
