Kanye West Takes His Twitter Rant on the Road

(It’s a quickie post today because I’m heading to Denmark for a few days. I’ll be back to blogging late next week!)

Kanye West’s appearance on Kimmel last night was hard to watch — and yet impossible to look away. The weird thing is, I pretty much agreed with everything he said (well, expect for the part where he said Kim Kardashian deserves to be on the Walk of Fame). The genius thing isn’t a real stretch, and he’s right when he said he needs the paparazzi as much as they need him, but there should be a higher level of dignity. But man, why does he have to be such a rant-y jerk about it?

-Meanwhile, Kanye‘s “Gone” is top 20 now because of that viral video of the woman quitting her job.

Gloria Steinem is defending Miley Cyrus. I can honestly say I didn’t see that one coming…

-Meanwhile, Robin Thicke lives up to our worst expectations by blaming the entire VMAs performance on Miley, telling Oprah “I’m the twerkee. I’m twerked upon.” Gross.

-American Horror Story’s new season debut to huge ratings last night.

Sandra Bullock really brought it to the London premiere of Gravity. Wowza!

-Awkward: Lindsay Lohan caught her little brother on the Tinder app.

Reese Witherspoon says having kids has made her less Tracy Flick.

-Despite it being kind of meh, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. just got a full season pickup.

Owen Wilson is set to appear on Kimmel tonight — the day after it was revealed that he got his married personal trainer pregnant. This should be fun!

-The Office star Craig Robinson was detained in the Bahamas when drugs were found in his luggage. Well, at least he didn’t pass it off on his assistant.

Ben Affleck reportedly tried hard to salvage Runner Runner by bringing his editor in to fix it up. Clearly, it didn’t work.

-A new trailer for American Hustle has landed. So. Much. Hairspray.
