Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy Feel “The Heat”

-Does anyone else think The Heat stars Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy both look really weird on the cover of Parade?

-More details are emerging about Paris Jackson‘s alleged suicide attempt. Sources say she wasn’t serious, and may have been lashing out because she wasn’t allowed to go to a Marilyn Manson concert, or possibly because she feared having to testify in her late father’s wrongful death lawsuit. There’s also some talk this wasn’t her first attempt.

Liam Hemsworth (or at least his publicist) has joined Twitter (no doubt because he was itching to respond to Amanda Bynes‘ flirt-Tweets – after all, they have a cozy past).

-Meanwhile, Liam shares some steamy scenes with Amber Heard in the new trailer for Paranoia.

Vince Gilligan says he cried while writing the finale episode of Breaking Bad. Something tells me I’m going to experience some serious PTSD when this show ends.

-Speaking of Breaking Bad, as part of his charity monologue series, Samuel L. Jackson performed Walter White‘s “I am the one who knocks” speech.

Angelina Jolie wore a Brad Pitt-designed bracelet, proving to the world that Brad Pitt should stop designing bracelets.

-Good on Jennifer Lawrence: she’s not only going to star in the upcoming adaptation of The Rules of Inheritance, she’ll also produce it.

Richard Branson claims Justin Bieber has already booked a trip to space on the Virgin Galactic. Can he just stay there for a while?

-I like this article, in which Lena Dunham analyzes three episodes of Girls. Her response to the Patrick Wilson casting controversy is great: “Really? Can you not imagine a world in which a girl who’s sexually down for anything and oddly gregarious pulls a guy out of his shell for two days?”

-Of course the guy who plays Jamie Lannister on Game of Thrones says his weirdest fan encounter happened in Toronto. Of course.

-Meanwhile, George RR Martin really enjoyed watching the fan reactions to the last episode on Conan.

-In other late night talk show fun, I loved Fallon‘s ragtime version of “I Wanna Sex You Up.”

-You know that really old Lassegg video that went viral a few years ago? Idris Elba just recreated it, wig and all.

-Speaking of recreations, Adam Scott talks about teaming up with Amy Poehler for his latest TV theme song re-enactment.

Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger can’t even keep their hands off each other at the grocery store.

-If you want to keep liking Jonah Hill, you’re probably going to want to skip Rolling Stone‘s interview with the cast of This Is the End, because he comes off like a humourless pill.

-The great thing about Joss Whedon‘s Much Ado About Nothing being released soon is that we’re seeing tons of interviews with him. Here he talks about his new movie’s similarities with Buffy, and here he pretty much says that he won’t do The Avengers 2 without Robert Downey Jr.

Russell Brand talks about his divorce in the new issue of Esquire, saying his marriage to Katy Perry failed because they both had “lots of options.” Hmmm.

-Magazine buyers would rather buy issues featuring TV actresses on the cover than movie stars.

-Speaking of TV actresses, Jessica Pare is amused by everyone’s Mad Men theories surrounding her fate.

Nicole Richie is calling out a paparazzo for allegedly dropping his own daughter in order to snap a photo of her. Yikes!

Nicole Kidman posed with ex-boyfriend Lenny Kravitz at the CMT Music Awards last night.

George Clooney is shilling for his new tequila company. Still hot, though.

-Here’s the red-band trailer for The To Do List, starring Audbrey Plaza, Bill Hader, Rachel Bilson and Andy Samberg. I’m cautiously optimistic about this one.
