Kerry Washington looks a-mah-zing on Elle. I can’t believe it took this long for a major fashion mag to give her a cover but it’s so good, it’s even making me forget all about those gloves she wore last night.

-During Kanye West‘s MET Gala performance, he defended Kim Kardashian against haters. It’s almost like he knew what we’d all be saying about her dress today.

-Speaking of MET attendees, Michelle Williams left the event hand-in-hand with NYC-based artist Dustin Yellin.

-Also, this gif of Jennifer Lawrence photo-bombing Sarah Jessica Parker will make you love her forever (even more). It’s almost as great as Joshua Jackson‘s photo-bomb of Anne Hathaway.

Rihanna said Nicole Richie‘s MET dress “makes me throw up” (in a good way, we think).

Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn‘s night out at the MET Gala reportedly ended with him drunkenly falling on the stairs and her helping him up while “clenching her teeth.” Ah, the honeymoon period!

-According to a Reader’s Digest poll, Kristen Stewart is the “least trusted movie star in America,” because the Reese Witherspoon drama has taught the world nothing.

The Office finale has been expanded to one hour and fifteen minutes. This thing is going to end up spanning three weeks before NBC is done with it.

Liam Gallagher says he almost died after an M&M sent him into anaphylactic shock.

-In other odd news from British singers, Pete Doherty has a new houseguest: Macaulay Culkin.

-iTunes is currently streaming the new Vampire Weekend album. Get on it!

-Someday I’d like to type the words “Lauryn Hill” without the words “troubled singer” before it, but today won’t be that day. Trouble singer Lauryn Hill has been sentenced to three months in jail for failing to pay nearly $1M in taxes because she was “opposed to the system.”

-In other ‘singers in jail’ news, Ja Rule just got out after spending two years in the clink.

-Newlywed Keira Knightley might replace Anne Hathaway as the lead in the dark comedy Laggies.

-I don’t watch Criminal Minds, but I dig the fact that the show’s actresses are refusing to sign new contracts until they get salary parity with their male costars.

-The documentary about Rihanna‘s 777 tour aired on Fox last night, but there was surprisingly little footage of the press mutiny. Actually, that’s probably not surprising at all.

-The director and writer of Iron Man 3 revealed that an early cut of the movie was over 3 hours long and featured a Gwyneth Paltrow/Guy Pearce sex tape.

-Meanwhile, Iron Man 3 director Shane Black just signed on to direct another comic book flick based on Doc Savage.

Florence Welsh covered “I Love It” by Icona Pop and it’s kinda great.

-The revolving door of leading men attached to Natalie Portman‘s upcoming western continues to turn. The latest actor to sign up: Ewan McGregor.

Kat Dennings said she had a “hangout” sushi dinner with Drake, but insists it wasn’t a date. Too bad, ’cause I could totally get behind those two as a couple.

-If you’re a comic book geek, the outfit Emma Stone is wearing in the new photos from the Spider Man set might give away a huge spoiler. For the rest of us, it’s just a cute coat.

Aaron Paul bought the Breaking Bad crew customized whisky bottles as a wrap gift because he’s awesome wrapped in amazing.

-This is both unexpected and awesome: British comedy The IT Crowd is coming back for one more episode with the original cast.

Dr. Phil is suing Deadspin for posting clips from his interview with Manti Te’o before it had aired in some markets.

Bradley Cooper‘s new Häagen-Dazs commercial makes it seem like he shows up to fancy parties with a pint of ice cream, which totally makes me want to be his friend.

Grey’s Anatomy’s McSteamy just landed a new show. Too bad it’s on TNT.

-In other (better) casting news, Andrew Garfield has been tapped to star in Martin Scorsese‘s Silence.

Amanda Seyfried‘s new Givenchy commercial is beyond silly, which I guess makes it just like every other perfume ad.

-This might be the birthday hangover talking, but I’m actually intrigued by this trailer for Ender’s Game. Or maybe I’m just into Ben Kingsley with a face tattoo…
