-Did it actually happen? Did the world’s most genetically compatible breeders actually tie the knot on Christmas Day at Donna Karan‘s estate in Turks & Caicos? There’s no confirmation or denial from Brange‘s camp yet, but the report first originated in The Telegraph (which makes it a whole lot more creditable than if it came from, say, Life & Style).

-At least Jennifer Aniston gets to deal with the news while vacationing in Cabo with her pals, including Emily Blunt (who was photographed reading Gone Girl — how great would it be if she was cast as Amy in Reese Witherspoon’s upcoming adaptation of it?!)

-Speaking of beach vacations, Channing Tatum rang in the New Year with his wife in St. Barts.

-Reading CDAN’s annual blind riddle reveals has become my favourite New Year’s Day tradition. All the Blake Lively ones kill me.

-Sorry to ruin your 2013 so soon, but Rihanna and Chris Brown Instagrammed photos of themselves lounging in bed on New Year’s.

This story about Joshua Jackson pimping out his ex-girlfriend/costar Katie Homes to Jake Gyllenhaal is totes fake…but don’t you wish it wasn’t?

Kim Kardashian supposedly wore a baby-bump revealing outfit on NYE, but I don’t see a difference. Then again, I can’t bear to look at photos of her for longer than 0.00003 seconds so I’m probably not the best judge.

-There’s video of Taylor Swift and Harry Styles kissing in NYC on NYE, which led to a barrage of Twitter hate for Swifty. People suck.

Jennifer Lawrence is on a roll with magazine covers this week. She looks fab on the new Vanity Fair (and is predictably charming and humble in the accompanying article preview.)

Justin Bieber has commented on paparazzo who died while chasing his car in Los Angeles earlier this week, calling for “meaningful legislation” to protect celebrities.

-How did I miss Kathy Griffin trying to “tickle” Anderson Cooper‘s sac on live TV?

-Meanwhile, Carly Rae Jepsen proved her Canadian-ness by wearing long johns under her NYE maxi skirt.

-Sofia Vergara‘s fiancé continues his quest to prove to the world that he doesn’t deserve her.

-Are Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Rihanna and Azealia Banks set to come together on a track?

-Meanwhile, I can’t get enough of Azealia Banks’ new song today.

Gwyneth Paltrow accidentally out-cooled Chris Martin by dancing on the side of the stage during his NYE performance with Jay-Z. Even Apple and Moses looked more comfortable up there than Chris.

-My original flight home was cancelled, so I spent most of New Year’s Eve trying to Steve Martin it back to Toronto. The only thing that got me through it was watching all those Luther episodes I downloaded ages ago. Holy crap, why did it take me so long to catch up with this show?! It’s only two seasons (so far) of 4-6 episodes each, which is way too short. Thank god 2013 is shaping up to be the year of Idris Elba!

-I love that the only person who’s looking at the camera and in focus in Mariah Carey‘s official family holiday picture is Mariah Carey.

-Even Russell Crowe agrees with Adam Lambert‘s criticism of Russell Crowe’s singing in Les Mis.

-Need to add a little awkwardness to your day? Watch this video, in which Samuel L. Jackson tries to pressure an interviewer into saying the n-word.

Jon Favereau has signed on to direct one of the final episodes of The Office. John Krasinski says he’ll also direct a couple.

-A trailer for The Walking Dead‘s return has landed. I’m still bummed that showrunner Glen Mazzara is out.

-Speaking of TV promos, a new clip from Portlandia hilariously spoils a whole bunch of other shows.

-Wanna see Madonna face-plant while trying to snow board? Sure you do!

-How did I never notice that Christopher Walken looked exactly like Scarlett Johansson when he was younger?

-Meanwhile, Scarlett pretends that she never thinks about marriage in a new interview with Elle.

-I really dug this article about how Cougar Town transformed from smarmy to sweet.

-The first trailer for Colin Farrell‘s Dead Man Down has landed.
