–Robert Pattinson just signed on to become the new face of Dior’s men’s fragrance. Am I the only one who finds this…odd? After any of my few (admittedly very limited) interactions with him, the first question people asked me about it was always “So, is it true that he smells bad?” Then again, if rumoured B.O. bomb Brad Pitt can front Chanel No.5, I guess anything’s possible. (For the record, RPattz smells lovely. Kind of like sunshine and promises.)
-In other off-brand celebrity moves, Drew Barrymore is launching a makeup line for Walmart. Well, she does have a new mouth to feed.
–Taylor Swift is currently promoting her ex-relationships new album and during a chat with Katie Couric she inadvertently confirmed speculation that “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is about Jake Gyllenhaal.
-It looks like Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell really did get hitched. They’re now wearing matching rings.
–Madonna just passed up the opportunity to bad mouth Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez. Is she feeling ok?
-It pays to shell out money for VIP seats at Rihanna‘s concerts. Rumour has it that she’s gifting those fans with diamonds.
–Rainn Wilson announced on Twitter that NBC decided to pass on his Office spinoff, despite having already shot a pilot. Wow. It’s rare that I applaud network execs for making good decisions, but this deserves a slow clap!
-In other TV news, CityTV got the Twitterverse’s hopes up by posting on their site that they’d start airing new episodes of Community on Nov. 9. Unfortunately, they later changed it to Jan. 11. Tease!
-Reports that Edward Furlong was arrested at LAX for alleged domestic violence is making my inner ’90s teen weep.
–John Krasinski is looking all kinds of right in the new issue of VMAN.
-Is it weird that I find Gwyneth Paltrow to be at her most tolerable when she’s in Spain? Her GOOPiness just goes down easier in another language.
–Jimmy Fallon recorded his cold open outside right before Sandy hit.

–Justin Bieber, Emma Stone and Nick Cannon are all doing some do-goodery by presenting at the TeenNick HALO Awards.

-Strangely, the Die Hard 5 trailer intrigues me, even though it’s ridiculously titled A Good Day to Die Hard. I blame Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
