-Miley Cyrus is defending her Wrecking Ball video, saying it’s about much more than just her being naked.

-Meanwhile, Miley is wearing the worst pants ever, but I guess that we should just be grateful she’s wearing any at all.

-Congrats to my pretend BFFs Emily Blunt and John Krasinski, who are expecting their first child. Also, congrats to them for keeping it a secret for so long; their rep says she’s due soon.

-Gillian Anderson wrote a great letter to fans in honour of The X Files’ 20th anniversary.

-Too cute: Anna Kendrick and Brittany Snow were shopping in Harrods when the song they sing together in the shower in Pitch Perfect started playing over the PA.

-I very much liked this Interview article with Vince Gilligan, Alan Ball, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse on how to end a TV series.

-Brad Pitt walked the TIFF red carpet a few days ago with long locks, but he’s since cut it all off.

-I really dislike the fit of this sweater on Katie Holmes.

-The Breaking Bad spinoff Better Call Saul is a go — and it’s a prequel. Wait, does that mean Gus and Mike could be in it?!

-The mystery boy Taylor Swift was spotted flirting with in Toronto has been revealed as actor Brenton Thwaites.

-Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake reunited last night for another “evolution of dance” segment. This one was on end-zone dancing.

-Meanwhile, remember when Justin Timberlake’s 20/20 came out and everyone complained about how long it was? Well, the sequel is even longer.

-Laura Dern and Ben Harper are officially divorced.

-Baby-making machine Maya Rudolph just had her fourth kid with her longtime boyfriend Paul Thomas Anderson.

-Remember after the VMAs when Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding were all “oh, we’re just friends who like to touch each other a lot!” It turns out they really were dating at the time, but have since split.
